Description

The objective of this course is to place a greater importance on the experience of creating a work of art rather than the end product. Process art is important for children because it allows them discover how things work, make their own decisions, and be themselves. The opportunity to create something with no end result in mind relieves pressure from the child, allowing them to learn with no limitations. During this course students will experiment with a variety of mediums and techniques and also work with one another on group projects. This course will strengthen your child’s decision making skills, show them the value of teamwork, and also teach them that way in which you achieve something is just as important as what you are trying to achieve.
